It seems violent extremists are defending the life of of a prophet, saying the video is false and that Muhammad was not this, and was not that. Then the group of outraged Libyans storm an American consulate, killing four Americans who have given a lifetime of service to our country. Is that the best way to win others toward that religion and vindicate your beliefs?

I was younger when Salman Rusdie's fourth novel came out, The Satanic Verses, but I knew there was not truth in it, and even as an adult, have never opted to read it. The same goes for movies that have come out with lies about Christianity and who Christ was. I'm not interested and stand firm in my beliefs.

It is a shame that lives were lost and that our troops are now possibly called to a new mission. Once again Americans are called to be vigilant, but we are not living in fear. Millions of Americans are out at football games tonight, eating out or buying groceries across the nation and I like that.
