Black Hawk Crash in Southern Afghanistan Leaves 7 U.S. Soldiers Dead

A helicopter crash in southern Afghanistan has taken the lives of seven American troops and four Afghan soldiers.
On a noon press conference with Fayetteville media, Col. T.J. Jamsion, Fort Bragg's 82nd Combat Aviation Brigade commander confirmed that helicopters from the 82nd CAB were not involved in the accident.
Further details are not yet available, but the UH-60 Black Hawk helicopter crashed on Thursday in southern Afghanistan, according to the NATO military coalition, with claims from the Taliban that their fighters are taking credit for shooting it down.
