Both Parties Roll Through NC By Bus This Weekend

U.S. Rep. Paul Ryan, the newly appointed running mate is hitting the ground running - in North Carolina.

Set to arrive on Charlotte Saturday evening, Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan will make joint appearances in the Tar Heel state.

The previously scheduled bus tour will make three stops in the state, including at 10 a.m. Sunday at the NASCAR Technical Institute in Mooresville. Additional stops will occur in the furniture country of High Point, but the Morrisville stop has been cancelled.

Democrats are holding a counter-bus tour through the state as well with stops in Raleigh and Greensboro. Vice President Joe Biden will campaign in North Carolina's Research Triangle region. Also on the tour includes speakers such as Charlotte Mayor Anthony Foxx – is expected to stop at the UNC Charlotte campus on Saturday, late in the afternoon.
