Bragg Soldier Accused of Sexually Assaulting a Child
The soldier is charged with two counts of a first-degree sex offense.
A 1st Special Warfare Training Group soldier from Spring Lake was taken into custody by the Military Police at Fort Bragg this week with bail set at $200,000.
Sgt. 1st Class Benjamin Scott Richardson, 39, was charged Thursday with two counts each of first-degree sex offense with a child, child abuse sexual act and taking indecent liberties with a child, according to Sheriff's Office arrest report.
