Dutie & Responsibilities:
- Clean and maintain roads, alleyways, streets, haul debris and trash; demolition of asphalt, curbs and sidewalks.
- Perform street construction and maintenance activities; including patching of pot holes, crack sealing operations and reconstruction of shoulders, curb and sidewalk projects.
- Dig ditches; backfill trenches and holes; install storm drainage pipes.
- Operate and maintain hand tools; street maintenance and gardening equipment.
- Break, repair, excavate and replace concrete, asphalt and blacktop surfaces.
- Set up and take down construction site signage and barricades for traffic control.
- Mix materials such as quickcrete and block/brick mortar.
- Install and maintain traffic control signs.
- Follow safety regulations.
- Prepare streets during seasonal weather conditions.
- Operate a variety of construction equipment including tractors, trucks, loaders, mowers, backhoes and a variety of hand tools.
- Maintain work records and logs.
- Lifting; loading and unloading of trucks by hand.

Duties & Responsibilities:
- Screen visitors and telephone calls and route as appropriate; assist the public, other departments, and divisions by providing information concerning services provided, explaining departmental/divisional policies and procedures requiring some interpretation, using a variety of established guidelines. Resolves problems which may include gathering and researching background information.
- Manage the operations of the city's Records Center to include the transfer of city records; inspect microfilm for clarity and accuracy.
- Screen incoming mail and prioritize in order of importance.
- Maintain a calendar of activities, meetings and various events for assigned department manager and make travel arrangements.
- Schedule and arrange division activities, meetings, conferences and various work events.
- Compose, prepare, review and distribute a variety of forms, reports, correspondence and documentation; proofread a variety of documents including general correspondence, memoranda, and reports.; revise the records retention and disposal schedule manual.
- Establish and maintain a variety of records, reports and files; prepare reports concerning new or ongoing programs and program effectiveness; inventory records as necessary; monitor, retain and purge records as needed; assemble and distribute materials as required; gather and compile information for various reports; verify accuracy of information, research discrepancies and record.
- Assist in the preparation of departmental budget; monitor expenditures.
- Operate a variety of office equipment including copiers, facsimile machines and computers; input and retrieve data and text; organize and maintain disk storage and filing.
- Prepare, type, word process and proofread a variety of documents including general correspondence, agendas and reports.
- Prepare monthly invoices; requisition supplies and materials as required.
- Contact the public and outside agencies for the purpose of obtaining, clarifying, and providing information and making referrals.

The Scorekeeper is an employee of the Fayetteville-Cumberland Parks and Recreation Department and thus represents the athletic division. These employees answer to the athletic division staff and the on-site center staff. The scorekeeper is expected to conduct and present themselves in a professional manner at all times. As a member of the athletic division team, your actions reflect the entire organization.
Duties & Responsibilites:
The scorekeeper will answer directly to the site supervisor to perform the duties, expectations, and responsibilities. Duties include but are not limited to: Keeping Score and/or keeping time at various athletic events.
