Fort Bragg Faces False Alarm for a Security Threat
A supposed bomb threat was reported on Wednesday, Oct. 3.
Security was tight on Fort Bragg as of 3:30p.m. on Wednesday. Signs were reported posted in the area of the Special Warfare Center and School (SWCS) alerting others about an allegedly suspicious person with a possible backpack bomb.
At 3:55 p.m. the Public Affairs Officer at Fort Bragg verified the information and said there had been a concern, but that it turned up nothing.
