Local Gym Heads to Compete in Rock Hill, SC

A two-day meet kicks or the weekend for local gym, CountrySide Gymnastics.

CountrySide Gymnastics goes into a final day of competetion at the Crown of Carolina's Meet in Rock Hill, SC.

The girls have spent the year preparing for their first meet over Saturday and Sunday this weekend. Around 25 of the tri-state areas gyms will be competing for medals and the title for their gym.

Jack and Maryln Hester have owned and run the family-owned business since 1988. As one might expect, they have seen an uptick in enrollment since the Summer Olympic games.

"Watching the kids work hard, up to the competitive teams is one of my memorable stories," shared Maryln. "They've come in young and excel, it's fun to watch."

Countryside Gymnastics offers gymnastics for all level and has competitive boys and girls teams.
