NCO Academy Welcomes New Command Sergeant Major

Thursday the senior leadership changes at a morning ceremony.


Fort Bragg's Noncommissioned Officer Academy will welcome its new command sergeant major on Thursday at 10 a.m. The ceremony will be held at the academy's graduation field.

Command Sgt. Maj. Michael D. McIntosh, a native of Parkersburg, W.Va., will assume command sergeant major duties from Command Sgt. Maj. Nicolino Parisi.        

Parisi served in this position for two years, and his next assignment will be with the U.S. Army Forces Command G6.

McIntosh entered the Army in Reserve in October 1985, and attended
Basic Training and Advanced Individual Training as a carpentry and masonry
specialist. He enlisted on active duty a year later.

The new command sergeant major previously served as battalion command
sergeant major for the 307th Engineer Battalion, 20th Engineer Brigade,
at Fort Bragg
