UPDATE: Remains Found on Fort Bragg
Investigations are finished with the remains found on Bragg.
Fort Bragg, N.C. — Fort Bragg officials said the remains found Tuesday are not human remains. The remains were found in the Eastern Training Area on the post.
Post spokesman Benjamin Abel said the remains were moved to an Army forensic laboratory for identification, due to their condition.
Bragg officials had been searching for several hours Tuesday after receiving a report of a body on the base, according to a press report.
