See You at the Pole, A Success in Cumberland County

Who says you can't pray at school? On Wednesday, students gathered to pray during the annual student led initiative.

See You at the Pole is a student led global event that began in 1990. The grass roots movement started with ten students praying at their school, around the flagpole. Twenty years later, millions pray on their campuses on the fourth Wednesday every September.

See You at the Pole is simply a prayer rally where students meet at the school flagpole before school hours to lift up their friends, families, teachers, school, and nation to God.

In Cumberland County elementary schools, middle schools and high schools across Fayetteville gathered in large numbers outside the public schools.
