Sex Offender Arrested for Violations

Cumberland County Sheriff’s Detectives have arrested a convicted sex offender and charged him with maintaining a social networking site.

Ronald Robert Manshum, 26, of 3225 Princess Ann Drive in Fayetteville, was taken into custody late Thursday afternoon.

Investigators say Manshum had a Facebook page, a website that permits children to participate in social networking.

Manshum is charged with banned use of social networking site by a registered sex offender.  This charge is a felony.

Manshum is currently being processed in to the Cumberland County Detention Center.
