Sheriff Needs Help as Search Begins for Suspect in Robbery

Law enforcement are looking for a white male in a white pick up truck connected to a robbery.

 

Cumberland County Sheriff’s Detectives are searching for a man wanted in a convenience store robbery.

On Thursday, November 22, 2012 the suspect, who is described as a white male, wearing a camouflage jacket, grey baseball hat and blue jeans, entered the Kangaroo located at 2990 Gillespie Street according to the Cumberland County Sheriff's Office.

The clerk says the suspect selected a pack of gum and approached the counter to pay for the item.  When the register was opened, he grabbed money from the drawer and left the building.

Surveillance photos show the suspect leaving in a white, pickup truck.  He is also wanted for questioning in the theft of lottery tickets from another convenience store.
