Soldier Killed, Two Injured in Vehicle Roll Over on Fort Bragg

FORT BRAGG, N.C. - At approximately 7:10 a.m., Sept. 19, an Army vehicle in a military convoy was involved in a traffic incident and rolled over while traveling westbound on Plank Road; one and half miles west of Wayside Drive. The incident resulted in the death of one Soldier and the injuring of two others. The two injured Soldiers were transported to Womack Army Medical Center for treatment.
All three Soldiers were assigned to the 4th Military Information Support Group (Airborne). The identity of the deceased Soldier is being withheld pending next of kin notification.
Fort Bragg law enforcement requests assistance in locating a white or light colored Chevrolet Impala with dark window tint and halogen lights. This vehicle's occupant(s) is being sought for questioning as it relates to the traffic accident.
