Jesus Christ Superstar

Jesus Rocks! When it premiered on Broadway in 1971, Jesus Christ SUPERSTAR, as the title suggests, was a look at the last days of Christ through the contemporary lens of celebrity worship. In the 70s that lens was hippy counterculture.

Now, Artistic Director Tom Quaintance uses the lens of twenty-first century politics. Jesus Christ SUPERSTAR illuminates the transcendent power of the human spirit with a passion that goes straight to the heart.
