Where to Spend Veterans Day

SUNDAY, Nov. 11, 2012

POW/MIA vigil: 12-8p.m. The Airborne & Special Operations Museum Foundation and Rolling Thunder will conduct a vigil to honor past and present veterans. Fort Bragg service members will guarding the POW/MIA table.

Veterans Day concert: 7:30p.m., Sandhills Community College's Jazz Band to perform a free concert at Owens Auditorium. 

Looking to honor your veteran after the weekend?

Dedicate a flag to honor your veteran. The flags are on waving on the parade field grounds at the Airborne & Special Operations Museum and can be purchased with the veteran's name, service, rank and the donor's family name for $5 through Nov. 18.
