• WNC Honors Awards celebrates local communities (ashepostandtimes.com) — Foscoe Ruritan Club has been honored in the 2025 WNC Honors Awards, spotlighting its volunteer-driven work alongside other Watauga County clubs. The long-running program recognized 81 rural communities across Western North Carolina, awarding $121,000 total to support projects like emergency response hubs, youth programs, and health and wellness initiatives that strengthen local quality of life.
