Free Parking In Downtown Greensboro Is Evaporating (rhinotimes.com) β Starting in early 2026, several longtime free surface lots in downtown Greensboro will switch to paid parking, with most city lots charging $2 an hour and the South Elm gravel lot $3 a day. Payments will move to the ParkMobile app or phone instead of coins, and enforcement will run weekdays from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., adding new hurdles for workers, residents, and visitors already frustrated by tight parking and the Bellemeade deck closure.
