Total Wine Removes Russian Alcohol From Stores Amid Ukraine Conflict

HUNTERSVILLE, NC — Total Wine, which has several stores in the Charlotte region including in Birkdale, has removed Russian products from its shelves nationwide.

The decision was made to support Ukraine amid the ongoing Russian invasion into their country.

The company posted to their Instagram to make the announcement and has received significant praise for the move, garnering thousands of "likes" on the post of an empty shelf where Russian alcohol once was.
