Ultimate Antique Workshop and Treasure Hunt

Resellers and antique hunters who are seasoned, brand-new and every experience level in between can network, treasure hunt and learn the tools and techniques to successful reselling at a Charlotte workshop and Treasure Hunt on Tues., Oct. 25. The event will take place at The Salvation Army Charlotte Adult Rehabilitation Center on 1023 Central Avenue beginning at 9 a.m..

WorthPoint, the world’s largest online resource for researching, valuing and preserving antiques, art and collectibles, will be joined by the Salvation Army to help those interested in treasure hunting and becoming an online reselling pro to perfect their skills. Attendees will learn how to research and turn a profit, identify and sell fine art, suggested apps for easy selling, and more.

Starting at 9 a.m. EDT, the daylong workshop will be presented by WorthPoint’s eBay expert seller, Eric Bradley. Eric has more than 25 years of experience buying, selling and collecting antiques, art and fine collectibles.

The event will also include a complimentary lunch, along with a “Hunt for Charity” contest in the Salvation Army Warehouse. Participants will search the warehouse for the item they believe will bring in the most money on eBay. The individual with the highest-selling find will win a grand prize from WorthPoint, and all eBay proceeds will be donated!

After the event, there will be an exclusive opportunity to browse and shop for treasures in the Salvation Army store. Eric and the team will be available to aid participants in how to spot and value findings using WorthPoint’s valuation tools.
