Duane Green Should NOT be around Children

A licensed school psychologist — a man entrusted to be alone with vulnerable children behind closed doors — wrote, in a group message, that it’s “antiquated” for a woman to accuse her husband of sexual assault if he removes her clothes without permission.Read that again. He is saying that non-consensual sexual contact within marriage shouldn’t be considered assault anymore. That the law — which protects bodily autonomy and consent — is outdated. This isn’t just offensive. It’s not just inappropriate. It’s dangerous. This is a man whose job is to safeguard children. A man who, behind closed doors, defends the erosion of consent. And this same man has accused me of “exaggerating” my own abuse. So here’s my question: if this is what he says in writing, in group texts — when people are watching — what does he believe, say, or do when no one is?People love to rally around the “falsely accused man.” The respectable Black professional. The victim of angry women. But at some point, we have to stop asking who seems upstanding and start asking what the hell they’re standing up for.I’m done staying silent to protect people who wouldn’t blink before calling me a liar, or worse. If you’re mad that I’m calling this out, you should ask yourself why you’re more upset by my tone than by his beliefs.
