• Scots struggle to Richmond in first loss of season (laurinburgexchange.com) — Laurinburg’s Scotland High boys basketball team dropped its first game of the season Tuesday, falling 82-73 at home to Richmond after struggling with transition defense, rebounding, and turnovers. Coach Jarvis Cobb said the Scots “beat ourselves” and stressed better hustle and ball-handling as they quickly regroup to face St. Pauls on Wednesday.
