• The Rosendin Foundation awards grants to area nonprofits (thecharlotteweekly.com) — Matthews residents who rely on the Matthews Free Medical Clinic just got a boost, with a $9,000 grant to support health care for uninsured neighbors. The funding comes from The Rosendin Foundation, which awarded $140,000 total to 18 North Carolina nonprofits backing veterans, families, food security, and workforce development across the Charlotte region.
