In an effort to help Mooresville Graded School District families with the rising cost of inflation this year, according to an Iredell Free News article, "the MGSD Board of Education has taken a couple of steps. First, the district will continue to waive the $50 laptop usage fee for the 2022-2023 school year and second, the Board has opted to maintain the cost of school meals for the 2022-23 school year. “We understand that meal costs may create a financial burden for some of our families, and our district has worked diligently to contain school meal prices as much as possible for our families,” MGSD officials said in the Iredell Free News Article. “We are fortunate and pleased to announce that we will be able to go into the 2022-2023 school year holding our school meal prices at the same price they have been since 2013.”'(Iredell Free News)
