Arrest Made Of Georgia Man In Mooresville Walmart Shooting
A Forsyth County, GA, man has been charged with attempted murder after police say he traveled over 8 hours to shoot a man.

MOORESVILLE, NC — A Georgia man was arrested Sunday at his home in connection with a shooting earlier that morning at a Walmart parking lot.
Robert Little Baker-Brown was charged with attempted first-degree murder, Mooresville Police said.
Around 11:40 a.m. on Sunday, a 27-year-old man was shot in the back outside the garden center of the Walmart on 169 Norman Station Boulevard as the result of a domestic dispute, Fox 46 Charlotte reports.

Police said investigators determined that Baker-Brown, 38, drove from his home nearly 250 miles away in Forsyth County, GA, to the store in Mooresville, then take the more-than-four-hour return trip.
“Detectives gathered evidence to show that Baker-Brown was possibly heading back to his residence in Georgia and contacted law enforcement there,” Mooresville Police Chief Robert Dyson said in a statement.

U.S. Marshals and Forsyth County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested him, and he is being held at the Forsyth County Jail in Cumming, GA, pending extradition, authorities said.
“The Mooresville Police Department wishes to thank the United States Marshal Service and the Forsyth County Georgia Sheriff’s Office for their assistance in this investigation,” Dyson said.
