• Lake House Destroyed In Early Morning Fire (whky.com) — Mooresville Fire-Rescue crews helped battle an early-morning blaze that destroyed a Lake Norman home on Kyle Lane today, though no injuries were reported. Multiple departments, including Denver’s fire boat and a regional tanker team, were called in as the garage fire grew to a second alarm. Firefighters rescued a cat from the home, and investigators are still determining the cause.
