  1. According to a recent Facebook post on The Town of Mooresville page, "the town is looking for dedicated residents willing to serve on the Environmental Protection Committee.   2. A 16-year-old will be driving the No. 1 Toyota Tundra TRD Pro. for TRICON Garage. According to SpeedwayMedia.com, " (TRICON) announced today that it has signed William Sawalich to drive in six NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series races throughout the 2023 season. The 16-year-old driver will pilot the No. 1 Toyota Tundra TRD Pro. The Eden Prairie, Minnesota native recently announced a 20-race ARCA slate with Joe Gibbs Racing, including plans to pursue the ARCA Menards Series East championship."   3. A decade-long plan has been approved by the Mooresville commissioners to create a low-stress, connected, convenient, bicycling network. According to the Iredell Free News, "the town is currently home to 2.2 miles of multi-use paths and 7 miles of bike lanes. Three other projects are currently in development. The Pedal Mooresville Bicycle Plan includes 12 priority projects — and many more — which would greatly increase opportunities for cyclists to safely move around the town, which was identified as a priority in the One Mooresville Plan."
