Classic Christmas Comes To Mooresville Saturday

MOORESVILLE, NC — Santa is coming to Mooresville Saturday and bringing the magic of Christmas with him. Caroling, ice-skating, shopping, dining, hot chocolate and treats galore will be offered downtown from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. It's just $2 a person to skate.

And that's not all. How about a giant snow globe, animated projected light show, live musical performances, gingerbread house competition winners announced and more?

Just be aware that some roads have to close to make way for Santa, of course.

Moore Ave. will be closed (between Main St. and Broad St.), beginning at 12 a.m. on Friday, Dec. 10, until 1 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 11. Additionally, Main St. will be closed (from Center Ave. to Iredell Ave.) from 5 p.m. until 9:30 p.m. on Dec. 10.
