  1. This month is Distracted Driving Awareness Month and Mooresville Police and the Vision Zero team are reminding drivers to put down the distractions and focus on the roads to keep everyone safe – drivers, bicyclists, pedestrians and workers. Remember, phones, kids and pets can all be a distraction while driving. And distracted driving can lead to running lights, speeding and crossing the center line. Be careful out there! (Town of Mooresville NC via Facebook)
  2. The bocce ball courts are open and ready for games! The bocce ball court renovations at Bellingham Park have been completed thanks to the Mooresville Park Services team. Enjoy! Check out the other amenities at Bellingham Park by clicking here. (Mooresville Parks & Recreation via Facebook)
  3. Join the Girls on the Run of the Greater Piedmont 5K on April 29th at 9 a.m. at North Iredell High School. This event, which is open to the public, is the end-of-the-season culminating celebration for the Girls on the Run participants. Join in as the girls celebrate their accomplishments for the season. The Girls on the Run 5K celebrates friends, family and wellness! Public runners are welcome as this race provides much needed scholarships for future Girls on the Run participants.
