The animals were cleaned up, treated for any medical ailments and matched with foster care situations that the rescue had reportedly secured over the weekend prior to the raid of the home where the dogs were being kept. Several of the animals were puppies and pregnant moms. According to the Mooresville Tribune, "With so many being young, potentially dealing with an infestation of worms and/or fleas, and needing to be spayed or neutered, it may be several months before the dogs go up for adoption."
