First responders, high-risk medical providers and those 65 and older are eligible at the Feb. 8 event in Mooresville, ICHD said.
MOORESVILLE, NC — A drive-thru vaccination event in Mooresville Monday will offer a coronavirus vaccine to anyone over 65, high-risk medical providers, and first responders, county health officials announced Friday.
The Feb. 8 vaccination event will be held at Mazeppa Park, located at 645 Mazeppa Road in Mooresville beginning at 10 a.m.
Health officials ask that participants print out and complete a registration form, which may be found here. If participants are unable to print the form ahead of time, registration may also be complete on site, organizers said.

Following vaccination, participants will receive followup details regarding when and where to go for their second doses through an automated message sent to the phone number used during registration, ICHD said.
Participants in the vaccination clinic are not required to be Iredell County residents.
"We encourage individuals to seek vaccination in their county of residence, but we will accommodate individuals who work in Iredell, live elsewhere, or individuals who live closer to an Iredell County vaccination clinic than a clinic in their county of residence," Megan Redford, spokesperson for the Iredell County Health Department, told Patch recently.
