- Will you be at the 2022 Festival of Food Trucks on August 6? It has been expanded and will be held on Broad Street from Center Avenue to Moore Avenue and Main Street from Center Avenue to Iredell Avenue from 5 to 8:30 p.m. There will be 15 trucks located along Broad Street and Main Street. Live music by Hot Wax & the Splinters. Adult beverages served by 158 on Main, 202 Fine Wines, Dive Bar, Murto Made Mooresville, On Tap, HopTown & Ghostface Brewing. Corporal Compton graduated from NC State in 2014 with his bachelor’s degree in sociology. He began his law enforcement career at Concord Police Department, where he worked for two years. He then joined Mooresville Police Department and has since advanced from Officer to the rank of Corporal. Corporal Compton is a member of MPD’s Special Response Team (SRT) unit."
