  1. It's fireworks time in the town of Mooresville. The city promised the rescheduled Fireworks Spectacular display will take place on January 14 from 4 to 7 p.m. at Langreee Lake Norman. Hope to see you there to kick off Mooresville's 150th Celebration. To stay up-to-date on the celebration & others throughout 2023 go to mooresvillenc150.com. According to the website, "Kick off the Town of Mooresville’s 150th anniversary with a bang! Activities before the fireworks include music, food trucks, a Ninja run, face painting, balloon animals, and more. Complimentary parking is available on-site or free round-trip shuttles from Merino Mill (500 South Main Street) and The Cove Church (179 Langtree Road) will take you directly to the event beginning at 4 p.m. For more information, call (704) 663-7026."
