  1. The Mooresville Police Department wants to know, "What are you doing Saturday?" It is asking that residents cheer on MPD at the multi-agency softball tournament at Coddle Creek Elementary! The event will take place, Saturday, October 8, from 8 a.m.-6 p.m. Come cheer on your favorite police department and show the men and women in blue how much their community cares about them and supports them. The Mooresville Chamber of Commerce posted on its Facebook page that Anna Mickey is the EC Teacher of the year. The post read, "Anna is currently an EC teacher at North Iredell High School, but has also worked at East Iredell Elementary School and North Iredell Middle School in her eight years with us. Besides the role of EC teacher, Anna has also worked as a substitute teacher, teacher assistant, EC bus monitor, bus driver and provided homebound services.
