  1. This Saturday, the Local History of Mooresville, NC is hosting a conversation on its "A Journey in Images Photo." This year's exhibit is a celebration of Bart Mauceri's 20+ years as a photographer. Mr. Mauceri will be at the Williams Wing on May 7 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. to discuss his work. (Facebook)
  2. Trees fell onto multiple homes in Mooresville on Wednesday night after a series of storms. The trees damaged the roofs and windows of several different houses. A storm is expected to fall in the area today, so homeowners should prepare. (Fox 46 Charlotte)
  3. Unfortunately, due to inclement weather, the first Rock the Park in Liberty Park is canceled. The concert has been rescheduled for Jul. 29 instead. The next Rock the Park will be on Jun. 3. (Facebook)

  • A quick update from our Mooresville town departments regarding the storm on Wednesday: According to reports from our fire and police departments, there were 30 calls for service related to the weather from 4-6 p.m. Incidents include traffic accidents, structural collapse, traffic light outages, and downed trees. We want to sincerely thank our first responders and all our staff members who assisted and continue to assist our residents during the storm and its aftermath. (Facebook)
  • Due to the results of the 2020 census and the resulting redistricting process, the Town of Mooresville wants to make sure you know that your elected representative may have changed.
