  1. It's time for STEAMfest! North Carolina’s largest STEM and Arts festival! It will be taking place on Sunday, March 26 from 12 to 7 p.m. at Woodlawn School. The annual event takes place each spring featuring hands-on activities created by teachers, students, local universities, museums, community organizations, and businesses offering an exciting look into the fields of science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics. There will be a number of engaging, hands-on activities offered as well as activity booths, artisans and vendors food trucks and more. Admission is free! See you there! (STEAMfest)
  2. The Mooresville Police Department is inviting dispatchers, victim advocates, officers, judges and social service professionals to attend the Department’s 2023 Symposium on Domestic and Sexual Violence. The one-day training will be held on back-to-back days - April 18 and 19 – at Charles Mack Citizen Center from 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. each day. Topics will include sexual assault kit initiatives, N.C.   3. Will you be attending the Lake Norman Men That Cook 2023 event? It is taking place on Sunday, March 26 at Sweet Magnolia Estate 10101 Bailey Rd., Cornelius, from 11 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Twenty-two teams of men will be on hand serving their favorite foods to raise money for their favorite charities. The event is being organized by Huntersville Happy Hour Rotary. Tickets are on sale now Your entrance ticket is also your vote. It has a $20 value. ($10 for kids under 10, free for kids under 5). You will select from the cooking teams (segregated into seven categories) and place your entrance ticket (worth $20) into the container supporting either "the food of your choice" or "the charity of your choice.
