- According to the Mooresville Tribune, "Fieldstone Presbyterian Church, 804 Fieldstone Road, Mooresville, will be hosting multiple events, including its Net Church Service Monday at 6 p.m. for friends with special abilities. Come on out and join the congregation. All are welcome to attend. The church also will have a Bible study each Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. led by Pastor Trapp followed by lunch. - Looking to add to your family and do something good for the Mooresville community at the same time? Perhaps it's finally time to adopt a pet! Many pound animals are still looking for their forever home and shelters are still working to fulfill adoptions. Across North Carolina, there are thousands of dogs, cats and other animals of all ages and sizes without a home β many of whom are located within driving distance. If you're on a search for your new fur child, consider checking out a local rescue facility like Piedmont Animal Rescue, where Jonathan the cat is waiting patiently. If you aren't sure if you have time to take care of a pet year round, many shelters also offer opportunities to foster pets until they are placed in permanent homes. With help from our friends at Petfinder, Patch has compiled this weekβs list of animals available for adoption near you. (Mooresville Patch)
