Here are the top three stories today in Mooresville:

1. The Town of Mooresville will be holding a Board of Commissioners Special Meeting on Monday, April 10, beginning at 6 p.m. at Mooresville Town Hall. The meeting is to consider a resolution to establish a working group to explore a moratorium and to take measures to address transportation infrastructure and growth management in the town. 2. You are invited to the Southside Baptist Church Spring Festival. The event is scheduled for today at 2 p.m. There will be games, inflatables, egg hunts (over 2,000 eggs), cake walks, door prizes, coffee shop, face painting and food. Everything is free. 3. Mooresville's Lazy 5 Ranch made the list of the five best places to visit during spring break in North Carolina. The ranch is described as, "a privately owned, drive-through zoo that's 3.5 miles long, with over 750 domestic and exotic animals from six continents. There's also a walk-around petting zoo and horse-drawn wagon rides available." Open for summer hours now the ranch is open Monday through Saturday, 9 a.m. and at noon on Sundays.
