- Mooresville’s Earth Day event is set for April 22, at the Selma Burke Community Center. This event is free and full of activities focused on the environment for families such as recycling games and snail races and more. There will also be food! So come, enjoy the day and learn something new! (Town of Mooresville.)
- The third annual Dancing Davis Shaking Off Cancer Foundation car show fundraiser is scheduled for April 22 at the GoPro Motorplex from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. There will be lots of activities for all ages including raffles, a bounce house, DJ and Willie B’s barbecue. - Sponsoring the fifth annual FUNraising event, "Pins for Parenting" the Evening Exchange Club of Mooresville-Lake Norman will hold the event at Victory Lanes. The event is scheduled for April 23 from 2 to 5 p.m. The proceeds will be going to support local youth projects and Pharos Parenting.
