Likely Suicide Leads To Early Dismissal At Mooresville High
An apparent suicide has sent students home early.
MOORESVILLE, NC β An apparent suicide at Mooresville High School caused school officials to send students home around 9 a.m. Wednesday, according to a message to parents.
βThere has been an incident of an apparent suicide on the campus of Mooresville High School. The Mooresville Police Department are on site and investigating. We will be releasing students at 9 AM this morning. We will keep you informed as we learn more and are allowed.β the message said.
Chief communication officer Tanae Sump-McClean says students will be offered counseling today.

"We will have a counseling crisis team on the Magnolia Campus today for students who need to speak with someone," Sump-McClean told Patch.
