- Mooresville's Graded School District Board of Education (MGSD) held its end-of-year meeting on Wednesday, Jun. 28, and approved an interim budget for the following fiscal year. Since the state General Assembly hasn't yet finalized its own budget, the MGSD and other county-level boards have to draft interim budgets that can be amended on the fly. In this case, the final budget resolution will be adopted no later than Oct. 18. (Iredell Free News)
