Here are the top three stories today in Mooresville:

  1. A fire set at Palisades Apartment Complex is currently being investigated by the Mooresville Fire Marshal’s Office. Reportedly, on Tuesday night, at approximately 10 p.m., MFR Engine 2 and Shepherds VFD Engine 4 responded to 144 Avalon Park Circle to follow up on an extinguished fire. Due to the nature of the fire, Mooresville Fire Marshal’s office was contacted and responded to the scene. According to the Town of Mooresville's Facebook post, "It was determined that a small fire had been intentionally set causing damage to the apartment building."
