MOORESVILLE, NC — A Mooresville man was charged with secret peeping and other crimes after a camera was located in the bathroom of his home, Iredell County Sheriff's Office said Tuesday.

According to an ICSO report, the sheriff's office received a report Jan. 13 about the camera located in the bathroom of Andrew Linn Vanwert's home located in the 2000 block of Statesville Highway in Mooresville.

Following an interview with the individual who reported the incident, an investigator obtained a search warrant to review the recorded contents of the camera's SD card. That review of the recorded contents was then used to obtain another search warrant for the home on Jan. 22, ICSO said.
