Mooresville Police Seek Suspect In Child Pornography Case

MOORESVILLE, NC — Mooresville Police are looking for a man in connection with a child pornography investigation.

Authorities arrested Jonathan Alexander Wright on Nov. 3 on a charge of sexual exploitation of a minor, among others. He received a $100,000 secured bond and shortly bonded out.

While that was happening, law enforcement including the FBI were still investigating, Mooresville police said. A search uncovered evidence that led authorities to charge him with six more counts of sexual exploitation of a child.

But when they returned to arrest Wright again, he was gone.

Police said they also arrested Wright's wife, Christal Ann Wright. She was released on bond.
