  1. It is with great sadness that the Mooresville Police Department announced Tuesday that K9 Valor peacefully passed away on March 14 and officially ended his watch. The Facebook post stated, "He was a true hero, and we will all miss him terribly. Rest easy, best of boys. We'll take it from here." (Mooresville Police Department via Facebook)
