- Vickie Ketchie, a Mooresville resident recently received a very high honor — being inducted into the Exchange Club’s Court of Honor. According to Mooresville Tribune, "a special ceremony during which she, along with two other Exchangites, was officially inducted was held [this fall] at the National Exchange Club headquarters in Toledo, Ohio. According to The National Exchange Club’s Court of Honor nomination form, “The Court of Honor was established to honor and pay tribute to Exchangites who valiantly uphold and nobly serve Exchange. These Exchangites display an outstanding commitment to the ideals and mission of The National Exchange Club. The Court of Honor is a living memorial, a symbol of the spirit of Exchange Clubs. Induction into the Court of Honor is the highest and most lasting recognition of dedication to the ideal of ‘Unity for Service.’” Congratulations Vickie! (Mooresville Tribune.com)

- Mooresville Public Library: "With 2022 coming to a close, we wanted to let everyone know that we had over 700 programs in the last twelve months! Although these numbers are technically October 2021-October 2022, they're pretty representative of the opportunities that our patrons get to have every single year with the Mooresville Public Library. Programming will begin at the West Branch in January 2023, so next year patrons will have even more opportunities to join us for one of our awesome programs." - Feed NC: "Sacrificing meals to feed your children. At FeedNC, we feed the whole family. Hot meals every day, fresh and nutritious food options in our Grassroots Grocery, and even baby food is available to those who are in need." (Feed NC via Facebook)
- Feed NC: "Hundreds of children served! We had hot cocoa, cookies, a book-land, Santa, a Toyland and most of all, holiday cheer! Thank you so much Trane Technologies for hosting us & volunteering, National Charity League Lake Norman for organizing toy drives & volunteering, and all who donated toys! It was such a magical day for so many little ones in need in our community" (Feed NC via Facebook)
