- Sad news for animal lovers! Fifty-four-year-old Olivia the rhino has passed away. According to the Mooresville Tribune, "Olivia was one of the most elderly residents of the North Carolina Zoo. A Southern white rhinoceros, Olivia had been at the park for 35 years. She came to the zoo in 1987 with a friendly male rhino named Stanley who passed away in 2019." Olivia will be missed!
