- If you travel Brawley Avenue, between Spruce Street and Main Street, please note that it will be closed, on Friday, February 3 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. as part of ongoing roadway/infrastructure improvements being done by a contractor for the Town of Mooresville. A detour can be made around the closure by using Spruce St. to E. Gray Ave. to Main St. or Shearers Rd/Mills Ave. to College St. to Main St. Please plan ahead and take extra time if needed. - In an effort to feed the insatuable hunger to learn more about art in the community, Mooresville Arts is offering free art lectures through April. Experienced art instuctors will be giving the hour long lectures on Sundays at Mooresville Arts located at 103 W. Center Ave. The next lecture, βMy Impressionist Art Trip Through Franceβ with Dr. Mary-Louise Biasotti Hooper, will take guests on a trip transporting them to the streets of Paris and the beauty of Provence and Nice.
