1. A new partner has been announced! First Bank of Alabama, the oldest continuously operated bank in the state of Alabama, is JR Motorsports newest partner of the No. 1 team with driver Sam Mayer. According to JR Motorsports, Mayer said, "This is such a great opportunity to partner with First Bank of Alabama this weekend. They've had such a positive impact on the Talladega community, and I'm pumped to have a local business aboard our No. 1 Chevrolet Camaro." (JR Motorsports)
2. Road work is taking place this week throughout the area. Beware and make plans accordingly. The Town of Mooresville will begin new centerline striping (double-yellow line) and refresh some of the existing faded centerline striping on various Town roads. The work is anticipated to be finished this week, weather permitting. The roads will remain open during the work. Please use caution as a mobile flagging operation will be used.
