In an effort to get more people into trades programs, the national Lowe's Foundation Gable Grants program will be accepting applications for two-year grants to help build a sustainable infrastructure of innovative training programs. In total, The Lowe's Foundation is reportedly investing $50 million to prepare 50,000 people for skilled trades careers over next five years.
