1. Due to the weather, the Hope Park resurfacing project is taking longer than expected. The new anticipated reopening date for the Park is Tuesday, February 28. The town is asking that residents please be patient.(Mooresville Parks & Recreation via Facebook)
2. If you missed the job fair last week, don’t worry. The town of Mooresville’s annual Career Fair is April 12 at the Charles Mack Citizen Center. You can learn about current job openings at the Career Fair. Be sure to mark your calendars now. (Town of Mooresville NC via Facebook)

The Mooresville Fire Department, with the help from the Mooresville Police, announced Sunday that a total of six individuals were identified for intentionally starting a fire at a vacant home on Brawley School Road. However, according to CBS17.com, "there is no mention of any arrests or charges at this time." The fire reportedly started on Saturday night and was extinguished within two hours. (CBS17.com)
